Omtex is back at Jockstrap Central with a new range of sports jocks called Neo. It’s hard to believe it was possible but Omtex has managed to improve on what is one of our most loved gym supporters. Like the first edition Omtex jockstraps, they still have the awesome brushed cotton pouch that our customers love, but with Neo, they’ve wrapped the waistband and leg straps with the same brushed cotton fabric so you still get the fit and support you need but with an extra dose of comfort.

Like their predecessors, Omtex Neo Supporters all have a sturdy 3 inch wide comfortable ribbed elastic waistband wrapped in brushed cotton and one inch wide elastic leg straps (also wrapped in cotton) with a double walled cotton pouch to help soak up all the extra moisture and sweat from those heavy workout sessions.

A front centered contrasting Omtex logo on the waistband with a contrasting vertical double stitch down the pouch and traditional detail label in the back adds a stylish touch without losing it’s masculine edge. As with the other Omtex jocks, Neo is also ridiculously affordable so you can buy multiples and have one to wear while the others are in the wash.

JOCKSTRAP CENTRAL MODEL SHEAHAN

We recently released an extended photoset of our latest model Sheahan over on Jockstrap Central in the gallery section, but as always, we’re also posting it here too.

A while back Sheahan answered one of our classified ads via email sending in some photos, unfortunately the photos were the size of postage stamps so I really couldn’t see what he had going on but I had a gut feeling that this guy was worth pursuing – boy was that feeling a good one!

As soon as he came into the initial interview/meeting I loved his look, but it was his personality and his “I love life” attitude that really won me over – and that’s apparent throughout his whole gallery. Although he had never modeled before he drew upon his street performance background and came alive in front of the camera.

Although Sheahan was born in India, he spent much of his life in Dubai working as a street jazz performer but luckily for us he recently ended up in Toronto. I guess it’s the street dancing that gives him that remarkable body, but even more impressive is the fact that he’s got that body and he’s almost 40!

Sheahan’s extended photoset consists of a few of the product shots from our website (except much larger and with minimal branding) but is packed with extra “fun” photographs from the photoshoot. I usually try to keep the gallery to 30 photos, but there were so many great shots that this has a whopping 40!

While similar in the fact that both Wolf and Omtex supporters have superior craftsmanship, both are tough and durable, both are extremely comfortable and both have cotton pouches there are a few notable differences: By far the best feature of the Omtex jocks are their soft double walled cotton pouch not only for comfort but also to help soak up all the extra moisture and sweat from all your heavy workouts. The 3 inch Omtex waistband is slightly less taut and the 1 inch leg straps are fully elastic instead of elasticized fabric.

Both Wolf and Omtex supporters are phenomenal, it really comes down to personal preference. They’re both very affordable st $9.95 so why not give them both a try. Currently we have them in black, white, navy blue and our personal favorite – grey.
