The Locker Room: Now In Amazing Technicolor!

What's in your locker? — What’s in your locker? Why not add a dash of color!?

Call it voyeur in me, or perhaps the exhibitionist, but there is something totally hot about being in the locker room and watching that hot piece of furry, rugged muscle stripping out of his shorts revealing his jockstrap. Who doesn’t like being watched.

I remember when jockstraps used to be plain white. Still hot yes, but not as eye catching as some of the things I have seen recently seen at my gym. It seems people want to stand out more, and what a better way than adding some eye popping color below the belt.

I totally have a boner for the guy in the Pump! jockstrap. Pump! is the new hot commodity at my gym with a wild array of color options, but they are not alone. Bike with is classically white foundation has branched out to offer a wide range of colors. Activeman, Nasty Pig, Cellblock 13, and an assortment of others have left the world of white, and have introduced their own bold colors. Ranging from bright orange, red, and yellow, with striking patterns and embellishments, these are not your classic jockstraps.

Stuffing your locker full of bold color is all the rage now. So while some people prefer the classic (and who doesn’t still like a hot white jockstrap) there are other striking options out there to explore…and more importantly get you noticed.

Jockstrap Central model Gabe – behind the scenes

We have a lot of requests for from our customers and fans for more photos of our hunky German model Gabe but unfortunately, his photo shoot wasn’t one of our more successful ones (it was way early on and we were still experimenting a lot) At the time we were considering bringing in a line of jockstraps from England that looked good in concept but when we got them on Gabe, we realized they were butt ugly – so they didn’t see the light of day. They photos that we do have need a LOT of editing and color correcting which takes times – something that we don’t have a lot of these days – so don’t hold your breath to see a bonus gallery of Gabe.

The good news is that I just found some black and white behind the scenes snap shots during Gabe’s shoot. Sure they’re grainy, but at least we get to see Gabe’s weiner!

Hump Day is upon us!

Who doesn’t love a gruff and scruffy man in a jockstrap?

While searching Tumblr I came across a great blog that featured some photography from Dusti Cunningham. I can see that he shares my passion for beefy men in jockstraps so I wanted to find out a little more about him, and his artwork.

Dusti is a Los Angeles based portrait photographer who grew up in rural Kansas. He dreamed being an artist and moved to California where he now photographs a wide variety of subjects, ranging from Drag Queens, Actors, Belly Dancers and even Porn Stars.

The Unsung Hero…Your Jock!

I was enjoying my morning coffee and came across some really great articles regarding our favorite undergarment of choice.

I wanted to share a piece on the MFESports Blog. (Check the link to read more)

To give you a little bit of a rundown. The article is a humorous take on the history of jockstraps ranging from the Egyptian times and to more modern concepts of the Jockstrap.

I particularly love the part about the Cod Pieces. Apparently the Gentry would essentially bedazzle the heck out of their junk protection devices in order to show their virility, and should they have shortcomings, well their solution for that was also quite inventive. I mean who wouldn’t want to stuff their junk full of sawdust and other such packing materials.

We have come a long long way in the world of Jockstraps, but the design seems to still have a similar feel to it’s ancient brethren.

Although I doubt Ill be heading home immediately to bedazzle my favorite jockstrap and then stuff my “Man Zone” with packing peanuts, I’ll just file this here as one of those rainy day Pinterest projects I might get around to.

Tumblr seems to be a hotbed of jockstrapped men lately, and what better way to kickoff the weekend, than taking some time out of our busy schedules to perv on some hunky hairy men.

Now, lets face it, some collections are more complete than others, and when you come across a blogger who shares your passion for jockstraps and the men who wear them, it is only fair to feature that collection.

The Locker Room: The Rules Attraction.

We have all been there. We just finished our workout, muscles sore, sweaty and pumped up. It’s hard not to notice people or be noticed. Apparently there is some sort of unwritten rule where you have to get in and out as quickly as you can, but we have all lingered a little while longer to sneak a peek at the guy three lockers down. He is also sticking around just a little longer as well.

The art of cruising your gym is still a fine art none the less, and it comes down to movements, interaction, eye contact and visual cues. Let’s take the Jockstrap. It has been associated with sports and athletics since its conception. Let’s take that into consideration when we compare it to the days before when the Hanky Code was more closely observed. What you wear underneath your jeans, suit or shorts really does flag your intentions, and shows more about who you are, who you are observing, and more importantly, who you wouldn’t mind getting to know a little more…personally.

Since newer generations are not so familiar with the hanky code, underwear and jockstrap brands have been playing a significant role in the public cruising arena that is your fitness club. If you happen to see a rugged and hairy, beefy daddy in a Nasty Pig jockstrap, it’s likely that he wants you to know that he might be into a little more than your average “workout”.

Overall cruising of the locker room is just as much a sport as football, baseball or hockey. While some want to get in and out, others want to score. Those who do want to score, can easily send that message with how they gear up. Often the brand gives it away. It lets you know that they want to be looked at, and more importantly that they just might play on the same team.

Happy Hump Day!

It’s a Wednesday and as always I am on the hunt for some good clean…or dirty fun.

While cruising my Tumblr account I came across a great collection photos blogged by Happy Jockstrap Tuesday. Some of the pictures are of men proudly sharing their selfies. (We are glad they did). Some of them are more artistic, and some are just plain filthy.

There really is something perfect about a man in a jockstrap.
